  • Notice: Royal British Legion Poppy Crosses

    Thank you to all who helped out with the placing of poppy crosses in 2025. These crosses are placed on all Commonwealth War Graves and the family graves which have a memorandum to their loved ones who fell in the world wars.

    This project covers Berneray to Eriskay and the Monach Isles, where a total of 113 crosses were placed in 2025. Crosses are purchased at a cost of £3 each and this puts a huge strain on our funds. It would be a shame if this initiative were to stop due to a lack of funding, so we are asking for donations from the public to keep it going.
