Following the successful uptake of the fund in previous years, where £16,000 has been distributed annually to community bodies across the Western Isles to encourage youth activity during the summer period, WIDT has launched the Youth Summer Activities Fund 2026. The fund will be open from 9am on 1 April 2026 to 15 May 2026 to fund youth activities during the school holidays. Applications for up to £1,000 are invited from community groups. Once the fund of £16,000 has been expended it will close.
