James Stewart from Grimsay has been announced as the new lead singer for the band Skippinish.
Skippinish faced some backlash at the end of the year, after the announcement that Norrie ‘Tago’ MacIver would no longer be performing with the band. However, fans were delighted to hear the news of James taking over for what looks set to be a busy, exciting year ahead for Skippinish.
James is well known as the lead singer for the band Beinn Lee. He will be continuing with the latter, dividing his time between both bands.
“We can’t wait to get stuck into recording and rehearsals over the coming weeks and share more updates with you very soon,” said the Skippinish, announcing the news of their new singer on Facebook.
