Sgoil Lionacleit Parent Council raised almost £3000 at a successful fundraising bingo held in January.
The money will allow the parent council to continue offering financial support towards transport for the school Christmas Dance, as well as educational and residential trips.
Parent council members would like to thank all those who supported the event by donating prizes and coming along.
They also wish to recognise the generosity of all the companies that donated prizes, including the Kingsmill Hotel, SSE, Hebridean Jewellery, MacAulay Askernish, MacInnes Bros, the Chinese Takeaway, MacLennans Supermarket, MacLeans Bakery, Berneray Bistro, Anderson Banks, Dunes Cabin, Caley Timber, Benbecula Distillery, North Uist Distillery, Loch Duart, Crossroads Filling Station, Seaview Filling Station, OCS, Creagorry Co-op, Bayhead Shop, Rupert Blamire, Hebridean Smokehouse and Uist Hardware.
The parent council would also like to thank the school staff who helped set up for the event, Isabel MacCormick for providing the bingo machine and books, and Dave Adey who was the bingo caller.
